Complete Self-installer Common Core and your model’s required lessons, tests and video to receive automatic self-install authorization.

Self-installer authorization applies only to systems you purchased and own, across all Cold Fire Super Systems models. Complete the training and testing required for each model before installing it. You may not install any system owned by another person or business, even without payment.

Your Cold Fire Super Systems document package is available to download and review. This download does not include the detailed installation work order and does not replace the required online lessons and test.

We developed these lessons to help you understand your equipment, avoid preventable mistakes, and achieve a trouble-free installation and reliable operation. Complete the lessons and pass the test before beginning installation. Taking this time now helps protect you, your equipment, and the people relying on it.

Do not guess or skip a step you do not understand. If you need help, contact Cold Fire Super Systems before proceeding. We want you to understand the process and complete your installation with confidence.

After installation, you must complete the required inspections, installation work order, and system registration. These steps document your installation, activate your warranty, and provide the information we need to support you throughout the life of your equipment.

Downloading the package is only the beginning. Training, proper installation, required inspections, and registration are all essential parts of completing the job.

Step 2 · System lesson plans and tests

CTX-S1

Three self-install lessons, lesson checks and one 25-question test, plus the piston-reset video. Includes the CTXB manual actuator assembly used in CTX-S1.

CTSX · Speedway Motors

Three lessons, the piston-reset video and a 20-question own-system knowledge test. Includes the CTXB manual actuator assembly used in CTSX.

RV · Horizontal and vertical systems

Six lessons with installation photos, demonstration references, kitchen and bedroom handheld guidance, and a 25-question knowledge test with alternate retake wording. Three attempts per day.

Complete Self-installer Common Core and RV course signup, lessons and testing. Your RV self-install certificate is issued automatically for your own purchased systems.

CTX

Seven own-system lessons, the required piston-reset video and a 25-question test. Retakes draw from an expanded question bank, with three attempts per day.

Complete Self-installer Common Core first. Install only your own purchased systems within the authorized scope.

CTXM optional kit · Five lessons and a 10-question test. Complete your CTX self-installer course first; own-system restrictions continue to apply.

CT · Direct Detection-tube discharge

Seven lessons covering CT operation, mounting, Detection tubing, fittings, charging, leak checks and completion. A 25-question test draws from a 44-question bank, with three attempts per day.

Complete Self-installer Common Core first. Authorization is limited to your own purchased systems.
